Potholes in Resurfaced Cam High Street

The quality of the resurfacing of Cam High Street (A4135) must once again be called into question. Back in February the area around the mini roundabout failed only weeks after laying and before the project was finished. Only eight months later there is now a pothole in Draycott.

The pothole near to a blocked drain is quite clearly getting bigger, it also has some membrane in the bottom. Is this supposed to be there? Is this a result of poor preparation?

Two simple photo’s quite clearly show the poor quality service we are getting from Gloucestershire County Council and Amey Plc. May I suggest the County Council insist that the surfacing contractor returns and resurfaces the whole section and that Amey get the drains cleared to reduce standing water and prolong the life of the new surface.
